Our Services

Jewelry Appraisal and Gemological Certificate features detailed information describing your jewelry item including:

a. Type of appraisal (insurance replacement value, fair market value, etc.)
b. A digital photograph
c. Description of the article(s):

  • Type and style of article (engagement ring, bracelet, etc.)
  • Mounting and finish
  • Quality (fineness), color, and type of metal
  • Method of manufacture (cast, die struck, handmade, etc.)
  • Stamping – such as karatage, manufacturer’s trademark
  • Condition
  • Total weight of article(s) and total weight of gemstones
d. Description of diamonds and colored stones:
  • Nature (natural, synthetic, assembled, etc.)
  • Number of stones and type of settings (prong, channel, pave, etc)
  • Shape or cut (round brilliant, princess, channel, etc.)
  • Measurements and estimated weight, actual or estimated by formula
  • Color, clarity (for colored stones – hue, tone and intensity).
  • Phenomena, if any (asterism, change-of-color, orient, etc.)

Watch Evaluation and Appraisal Certificate features detailed information describing your watch item including:

a. Type of appraisal (insurance replacement value, fair market value, etc.)
b. Movement (jeweled, quartz, etc.) caliber number
c. Functions/Features: day – date, three counter chronograph, moon phase, etc.
d. Model/Reference Number
e. Serial Number
f. A description of the case: crystal, bezel, crown, etc.
g. Dial: (original, refinished, custom, etc.) style of hour markers and hands, any functions/features.
h. Bracelet/strap: original, custom, etc. Measurements and buckle style.
i. Quality (fineness), color, and type of metal (any engravings also are included).
j. A description of the gemstones, colored lacquer or other decoration on the dial, case and the bracelet.
